Our Various Specialised Packages

School Tours.

Coláiste na bhFiann has accumulated a wealth of experience over 50 years running Irish Language Summer Courses. This invaluable experience, both in terms of academic and social development is now being specifically harnessed and tailored to offer a number of school tour packages. Building on the vocabulary store taught throughout the various strands of the education system, these school tour packages will provide a fun, interactive and educational outlet for the students to express themselves through the medium of Irish in a non-classroom setting. The students benefit from the underlying ethos of Coláiste na bhFiann courses, whereby total immersion and learning through activities comprise the core values of every school tour package. All profits from these courses are re-invested into Ionad Óige na hÉireann. Our unique pre-work package prepares the students for the total immersive nature of the tour. A member of Coláiste na bhFiann’s staff will meet with each school’s teaching staff to agree on the level of Irish required by the teachers and students on the course for its duration. In general, all programmes can be altered to suit the specific needs of your students.
