Gaeltacht / Boarding College

Ros Muc

This Gaeltacht is located in Connemara, 35 miles from Galway. Students stay in family homes in beautiful surroundings. The first Coláiste na bhFiann course was run in Ros Muc in 1968.

Ráth Chairn

The Gaeltacht of county Meath is situated in Ráth Chairn, just outside Athboy. In this area, students stay with Irish speaking families in their homes. These homes are all located close to the college where classes, sports and evening activities take place.

Gaoth Dobhair

This Gaeltacht is located in Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal. Students stay in family homes in beautiful surroundings. Coláiste na bhFiann began running courses here in 2014.

Droim Rí

This College is situated in Ionad Óige na hÉireann, Droim Rí, Co. Meath. This is an all Irish youth centre and during the summer it is the location of one of our Summer Colleges.
