Cumann na bhFiann creates a national network for young people to use and improve their spoken Irish in an informal setting outside the school system. This is achieved through the organisation of youth clubs, national and regional events, tours and activities.
Coláiste na bhFiann organises Irish language summer courses in Gaeltacht areas in Donegal, Galway and Meath where students live in houses and also in Ionad Óige na hÉireann, Co. Meath, where students live in a residential college.
